Purple Lobster shuts down a number of eating places, try full record of closed places

After contemplating submitting for chapter final month, well-liked seafood chain Purple Lobster has now shut down a number of eating places within the US. On Monday, the Florida-based restaurant chain closed 87 places throughout 27 states. These abrupt closures come after years of monetary woes.

Purple Lobster struggled financially in recent times

In 2023, Purple Lobster misplaced $11 million following its Infinite Shrimp promotion. On the time, Ludovic Garnier, the CFO of Thai Union Group, which holds a stake within the firm, stated, “One thing which was completely different from our expectations is the proportion of the individuals deciding on this promotion was a lot larger in comparison with expectation.”
