Netizens fume as Harvard College college students fly Palestinian flag in spot reserved for American flag: ‘Fall from grace’
Amid widespread anti-Israel protests throughout US universities, demonstrators at Harvard College have been caught on digital camera flying a Palestinian flag in a spot usually reserved for the American flag. A video confirmed three college students on the Ivy League faculty elevating the Palestinian flag over the statue of John Harvard. That is the place the Stars & Stripes is meant to fly.
The Harvard Crimson reported that the incident came about shortly after 6 pm on Saturday, April 27. Three flags have been hoisted on the campus. Based on a college spokesperson, the scholars violated Harvard’s coverage.
